Whispies

One of the first trends you could look into if you're not sure about getting bangs but want some flexibility in your look is the "whispy bang." Whispy bangs have long, face-framing layers and a shorter fringe in the middle. The nice thing about whispies is their ability to work like curtain or side-swept bangs as well as to produce a blunter look.

Baby Bangs

If you have bangs already and want to make a bold impression on others, why not try out baby bangs? Baby bangs are cut much higher on the forehead, usually an inch or two above the eyebrows. They can be as bold or textured as you want.

Blunt Bangs

Go bold or go home with blunt bangs. Blunt bangs are heavier than whispies, and they go straight across.  Blunt bangs work better on those with thicker, straight hair, but almost anyone can have them with the right styling. 

Curtain Bangs

Curtain bangs are versatile bangs that are layered to flatter most face shapes. They are in the shape of an inverted "v." coming almost to a peak where they meet just below the eyebrows. These longer bangs are perfect for people who like feathered hair textures and long layers. They'll also grow out quickly if you're not sure if you want bangs in the long term but want to give them a shot.
